How to play
- Find two identical tiles that are both free.
- A tile is free when no tile sits on top of it and it can slide out to the left or right.
- Click both tiles to remove them. Any flower matches any flower, and any season any season.
- Clear all 144 tiles to win. Stuck? Use Hint, Undo or Shuffle.

Tips for clearing the board
- Work on the top layers and the long rows first: they block the most tiles.
- Free the end tiles of the Turtle early; the single tiles on the left and right hold up whole rows.
- When all four tiles of a kind are free, take them in pairs right away.
- When only two or three of a kind are free, think before you match: the wrong pair can bury the one you need.
Shortcuts: H for a hint, U to undo, S to shuffle. The ○ button dims tiles you can’t play yet.

Is this mahjong game free?
Yes. Every layout is free to play in your browser with no download, no sign-up and no limit on games. The site is supported by ads, which never cover the board.
How do you play mahjong solitaire?
Match pairs of identical free tiles to remove them, and clear the whole board to win. A tile is free when nothing is on top of it and its left or right side is open. Any two flowers match each other, and so do any two seasons.
Can every game be won?
Yes. Every deal here is built so it can be cleared, and if you get stuck you can undo moves or shuffle the remaining tiles.
Does it work on my phone or tablet?
Yes. The board scales to your screen; turn your phone sideways for bigger tiles, or use the full-screen button.
Is this the same as Mahjong Titans?
It’s the same game. The Turtle layout here is the classic 144-tile layout used by Mahjong Titans, Shanghai and most mahjong solitaire games.
